@plant side of tumblr

I’m a plant mom to two succulents and I need advice about my kalanchoe halp

you gotta be specific you mean care or are they looking rough in the edges or ???

Kalanchoes like lots of sun I can at least say that with certainty w/o knowing what kind of Kalanchoe it is.

By advice i mean i bought it when it was very small and I’ve had it about a year and a half? and I’ve put it in bigger pots since then, but it’s gotten very very leggy. I was wondering if it would be possible to get a different pot and plant it in deeper (removing the leaves along the bottom) or if that would be bad for the plant. I just don’t know what to do because it’s gotten so top heavy that I have to stabilize it at the base.

It’s honestly looking fairly healthy rn (i’ve been attempting to put it through dormancy but i’m not wildly sure that I’m doing it right bc I’ve never tried to before)

I’m not sure about the type of kalanchoe but i can provide pics?

(ps this post is only about a week old and bless u for replying)

dear god sorry I never got back to you till now sorry. You could plant it deeper @dorothycastlemore but depending on the variety it may do more harm than good. Pruning/pinching it may be the better option. The legginess sounds like it may need more light. As for photo? YES PLEASE, not only will that help with finding out what kind of Kalanchoe it is, but also how its growing conditions are atm.
