Saw some apple-cedar rust on a juniper shrub for the first time while out on my walk today. So weird looking. Never saw the orange stage so might be a new infestation?

It’s still amazing to me that apple-cedar rust jumps between such a difference in species/families between stages. I’ve only seen the gross orange-jelly tentacle stage before so this is really neat to see!
