Maintenance on my chantaspring. I get some die back between the leaves. It’s not too much so I went and plucked the dead bits off. The scissor wasn’t even needed.
Took the time to rinse out all of my babies. They got warm water to rinse any fertilizer salts out. Now they’re on a bit of calmag/Epsom salt water I mixed for my orchids. Epsom salt can apparently trigger blooms or help keep them in constant bloom so we’ll see how that goes. Not sure if I’ll continue giving them calmag.
I didn’t find anywhere online talking about using a calcium/magnesium supplement, but I did find info on calcium deficiency. I don’t believe mine are deficient, but it doesn’t hurt to keep it at bay.
