Ginkgo and Clematis tangutica are the only things I can think of that’d be small enough while still being very unique…

Maples!

Thanks for indirectly making me reconsider my initial thoughts cactuguy!

I originally felt maples would be too big but after a walk around the gardens I think I underestimated how possible it was for BIG leaved trees to have the odd small leaves here and there for pressing. So with this knowledge in mind (and the thought of potentially outsourcing leaves like japanese maple if I get lucky) I photoshopped another arrangement idea/plan as leaf collecting/pressing season gets ever closer;

Ginkgo, Silver Maple, Sugar Maple, Tulip Tree, and Japanese Maple. Idk what to put in the other spaces yet as I want to have different species/cultivars in the entire display. Maybe spring/autumn flowers, or maybe variegated leaves like Harlequin Maple. At the very least, I have an achievable display plant for the middle picture frame now.
