Today while cleaning up my pearls I found a surprise! A flower bud!! I hadn’t realized there was any growth at all and was not expecting a flower! It had a rough life with me pulling it out of a store bought arrangement and then promptly burning it.
I’m so excited! Literally gasped when I looked under my growlight and saw the bloom had finally popped open on my Faucaria tigrina! There is about 3 other blooms that are growing, but I’m not sure how long the blooms last. So this one may die before the other 3 get to opening too?
Tiny plant update! Tiger jaws prop is finally rooting after a month of nothing. The end was looking a little strange, like there were roots trapped under the skin, so I dampened the soil it was in and the next day out they popped! Which is good because its very thirsty!
And i saw a lot of Echeveria around the base of this one tree while out with my tree ID class. They were cute 🙂
