Just another day in San Antonio! Pecan trees are sharing their months of hard work with those of us lucky enough to live in their shade.

My pride. My love. My key lime.

She produced zero fruit and flowers after almost dying from the frost over last winter.

I was worried that she might never flower again. But as you can see… ❤️

One of the newer additions. A grapefruit tree to replace the one that died a few years ago from the Frost. She’s got some flowers! Fall flowers. 🙂

The price for healthiest and most productive tree once again goes to the kumquat. 😑

However, I have figured out a use for these fruit!

After removing the seeds they can be thoroughly blended and used as an intensely orange flavored additive to lime margaritas. The orange flavor of kumquats is stronger than the orange flavor of oranges, in my opinion. So now I feel like I can value this plant a little bit more, LOL. She does deserve it after all! 🤗

Olive tree. Not much to report other then she produced a lot of small olives.
