I’m probably imagining it but I swear some of my cacti have been growing/bulking up since they got repotted and been given a more routine watering regime (once every 1-2 weeks, either way they get checked if they need water every midweek/monday for sure).

Between it being autumn and the fact that they just got repotted it just seems a bit too soon for it to be the case of them taking a growth spurt.

kihaku-gato:

While I could write or draw now, *cracks knuckles* let’s compile that christmas wishlist.

Done a tally of what I’ve compiled for the list so far, and I got;

  • 9 books (all plant-related unsurprisingly)
  • 6 Lavender-based products (either for sleep, culinary use, or just to bring more of the smell into things like clothes)
  • 3 decoratives/collectables (which are the least likely to be gotten from this wishlist)
  • 2 clothing related items (plant-print shirts, ballcap, nothing too fancy, just uncommon)
  • 3 Miscellaneous items

Question is though… is that enough for a wishlist with variety???

When I feel like putting the effort I should sometime post about our old-as-balls orchard apple trees (maybe even include my Uncle’s in said post) and show you kids how old and enduring apple trees can become.

Alright me, sorry to cut the writing session short but you wasted your full late-night card on that Castlevania season 2 marathon last night. So 424 coherent words written for that scene will have to do for tonight.

Now go on; shoo, to sleep with ye.

One thing about writing stories is admitting that its okay to not necessarily write it in chronological order to how the story will be presented to the reader. Accept that you may not be able to write down the beginning quite, and work on the middle, end or just whatever scene is most dominating your mind. The other parts will come after.
