So its not just my queued reblogs that are being blocked/muted from my main browser tumblr; I myself am being outright muted. The last post to show on my blog rn is from 16 hours ago.

This is a gardening/personal blog, kept reasonably sfw. Are you for real, are you fucking serious. You sure ya’ll sfw think tumblrs think you’re safe from this entire mess tumblr staff have been making? You still so sure now???

Maybe, MAYBE things will get better, I sure freaking hope they do. There’s people here I do not want to lose.

You know, I still don’t think I’m into the whole instagram thing….. but if that one friend/mutual still uses instagram I may honestly consider getting an instagram too….

I really don’t think they use IG anymore or they wouldn’t be freaking out so much about having no platform w/o tumblr. maybe I should honestly ask them where I can reach them if this site goes down but I’m a lil social chicken

But at least a good third or half of the plantblrs and nature-photo blogs I follow are announcing they are going Instagram instead of Twitter if they decide to book it from this site.

I really hate how instagram is primarily a mobile platform among other problems but- but-!!!

I should probably get some social media connections with some of my tumblr mutuals (like discord or something), but at the same time I hate how little I chat on those platforms (my dead skype is a GRAND example of that, and discord I only chat to like, 3 people on my friends list) + having their names collect dust on my friends list on such apps is in its own way depressing…

Reasons why I hope for dear god that Tumblr staff/devs gets their shit together; while I am establishing well onto Twitter-

  • Many artists/plantblrs I like/follow are primarily tumblr based. Few of them actually use twitter (whether out of choice or cause TWITTER PERMABANNED THEM FOR STUPID REASONS) and don’t even use twitter for the kind of posts they use on tumblr. I’d be lucky if I were ever to see them and their art/plant content ever again if tumblr finally died.
  • The tagging system for twitter is efficient yet limiting; having the tags and captions on the same limited tagging line leads to some points on where you have to either choose one over the other depending on whether you want snappy lines or just want attention on twitter from other blogs.
  • Twitter’s word limit is great for making posts short and to the point but my fucking god it sucks for ramblers such as myself who just can’t stop themselves from rambling on and on and on-
