Meet my tiny little Lithops! The pot is around 2 inches tall, which was a surprise because I didn’t pay attention when ordering them online. (Don’t worry, that’s not where I usually keep them) Thanks to HirtsGardens on Etsy for these gems!
Cut off his flower spike and I’m moving him to the bathroom for the winter, so he can get some more moisture in the air there. As you can also see his leaves are becoming smaller and smaller as more of them grow so maybe moving him will help with that as well.
brought home a lovely little sensitive plant (mimosa pudica) on sunday! i’ve set it up on my desk in a terrarium to keep it from getting bumped accidentally, and it seems to be enjoying itself! the cloche does sit a little crooked on the pot, but that’s what you get when you pick from the clearance shelf i guess…
I’ve been seeing these plants in a swamped area at my complex. I tried pulling one up, but it’s firmly rooted, so I let it be. More protection for the tadpoles living there, I guess.
