Some unfamiliar lacey ferns. I have no idea what kind. It was quite a big lacey fern indeed.

A Linden or maybe basswood tree? The leaf side makes me think Basswood.
I don’t get much opportunity to ID trees in the wilds normally. Its good practice to clear off the plant ID rust.

My eyes may be deceiving me but I’m sure that’s Lilium henryi! Such a beautiful and distinct lily species ❤
I find the curl of its flowers to be strange, yet fascinating. Anyone have a clue as to what this might be?
I have no idea what this is but it’s definitely something distinct enough that someone should know. Anyone recognize this fella?

hard to decipher but…. I’m sure I see Vetch (Vicia) in there, as well as at least two different species of Poppy (Papaver).
A beautiful, pink enigma of a plant.
Gladiolus, most likely a species form at that. Those look almost too graceful to be a conventional hybrid though not impossible.

A decorated rock.
I can’t recognize the purple flower (thyme???) but the flower flowers, I may be mistaken but my eyes went “loostrife/Lythrum” when I saw those flower! Must be an alpine member.

A gorgeous red.
Either a Japanese Maple or more likely(?) a Liquidambar styraciflua. Depending on the season that colouring is unusual to say the least.
