I can’t believe Inktober is over! It was so much fun researching and drawing these poisonous plants!

Like many trumpet flowers Datura causes hallucinations. Symptoms of poisoning include, violent behavior, painful light sensitivity, dry throat and mouth, irregular heartbeat, hypothermia, amnesia, and severe hallucinations that can last for days.

Inktober day 28: deadly plants

The flowers, leaves, and milky substance found in the seed pods are highly toxic. If the milky liquid comes into contact with the eyes, it causes blindness. Ingesting any part of the plant causes burning of the mouth and throat, altered vision, convulsions, circulatory collapse, coma, and death.
