Admittedly a teeeeeny tiiiiiiiiiiiny in-denial part of my brain tries going “things are fine in Canada”[even though to a point they definitely are not]”, the stuff going on elsewhere is nowhere near here” oh so often.
but then I see a goddamn fucking Confederate flag on our route to/from our drive to Guelph, flying oh-so-proudly underneath the Canadian flag. ARE YOU SO SURE ABOUT CANADA BEING UNEFFECTED, TINY PART OF MY BRAIN???
