The Astrophytum seedlings are doing really well. The biggest one is now 4 cm in diameter and the smallest is barely 3.
I just watered these guys for the last time this year. Nighttime temps are now somewhere between 5-9°C and I don’t want to have to move all of my succulents indoors this year.
I’m slowly expanding my Hoya collection. This time with variegated plants:
1. Hoya Tricolor and possibly a variegated H. Compacta (seller couldn’t tell me exactly what it was but it was a freebie, so I’m happy!). Both unrooted cuttings, but they look healthy.
2. Hoya Obovata Variegata
I plan on keeping all of these as hanging plants in my living room.
Mammillaria plumosa v. roseiflora, 1 year + 6 months
This hairy boy is growing fast. The weather is perfect and they’re getting lots of direct sun. The little hair-like spines protect the green body from the strong sun rays.
My little Sulcorebutia rauschii wasn’t just growing pups, but apparently also two flower buds. The first one popped today and it has the brightest pink color I’ve ever seen. The flower is as big as the plant itself 🌸
Just wanted to show you the size of my Sinningia seedlings. They seem to have exploded with growth since I repotted them last month. Maybe the roots needed some more room to stretch out.
Two Mammillaria flower crowns were waiting for me to return from work this friday afternoon. The cute one in the second pic was a gift from a coworker with the same hobby.
