My little split rocks are still alive. Most of them are doing okay, but for some reason only half of them have grown bigger in the last.. I guess.. 3 years. You definitely need patience if you want to grow these from seeds.
I bought this cute little Mammillaria spinosissima “un pico” last year and it was so small and adorable with its long white spines. Thought it was going to grow slowly like most other cacti, but look at it now. It’s a monster.
The Monilaria seedlings exactly one year ago and now. It’s going to be a while before they outgrow this coffee cup. Right now it actually seems perfect!
None of my Lithops flowered this year, but most grew two new heads instead of one. The big one in the bottom just split into two after 3 years of no growth whatsoever. It only split once in the 4 years I’ve had it.
A perfect Nepenthes x hookeriana pitcher. Probably the biggest one I’ve had on this plant. Apparently my study room works nicely as a sun room for my carnivorous plants.
These jellybeans are perfect and so adorable. I’ve had them for just under a year, but only just started to propagate them. I want them to fill the whole pot!
A couple of my carnivores, the two Pings (P. Tina and Laueana) and the Cephalotus are doing great outdoors. Much better than the two Nepenthes, I had to bring indoors because of the chilly nights.
The Pings are somehow still catching gnats by the dozen.
Just look at these puffy guys. I think the two seedlings on top have gone through 3-4 leaf sets now. The green one on the left has just split for the second time.
The obesa seedlings have grown really big over summer and they haven’t stretched at all. They really look like miniature beach balls now. Or regular sized sea urchin shells, whichever one you prefer. Wait, aren’t they called baseball plants?
