Gravel garden looking down.

Purple annual poppies called “Patty’s Plum”.
Brought seeds back from the Seattle Garden Show 20 years ago and they have been with us ever since.
Rosa rugosa “Scabrosa”.
Just about my favorite rose. Blooms non-stop May to September, fragrant, decorative hips and it is very hardy.
Rosa rugosa cultivar, maybe “Schneekoppe”.
Heavenly scent.
Tbh even though the cultivar’s name is a mountain range it sounds like an alcohol. If it were an alcohol I bet it’d probably have some clove fragrance and upon drinking it, it’d KNOCK YOU OUT FROM ITS STRENGTH cause Rugosas are burly!
