This year when I rewatched Over The Garden Wall I really empathized
with Wirt. I completely understood those emotions of self doubt,
turning into lack of self worth, and turning into apathy and depression.
That’s why today’s prompt it was perfect I felt to draw him with the
Edelwood draining the life out of him. I hope you all like it!
let autistic people infodump about their special interests without laughing at them or telling them they’re annoying. that kinda shit is what wrecks someone’s self-esteem and makes it even harder for them to form relationships bc everyone has told them they’re annoying and that their interests are stupid. don’t do it

as an autistic person w add i approve this message but i’d also like to add that this doesn’t mean you can never ask someone who is infodumping on you to slow down or if you could talk about something else or that you don’t have the time to talk right now or whatever, just don’t be an asshole about it.

With the queue empty you may be noticing that there are a lot less plant posts between the other post types (art, fandoms, etc.) when it comes to my reblogs.
Normally I have a personal policy (cause humans like giving ourselves weird rules) where I make sure a plant/gardening post/reblog to 5 posts/reblogs are thrown in between 1-3 non-plant-gardening posts, but for the moment that isn’t gonna be the case till a little past December 17th (Dec 17 being where I’ll keep dead silent / logged off for the entire day, part of why my queue needed to be fully empty asap). Part of it is that due to the fact tumblr is messing so many people over, that I’m wanting to make as much content of others’ known as I see around, like a bulletin board of various content, for networking and to make others’ presences and moves to other sites better known.
Some of you probably already figured out that by now that is why “Gato’s going rogue”, but I wanted to make that clear anyways.
