Turbinicarpus jauernigii

For scale, this plant is about 1.25in across, so I tried shooting it with a macro lens. Its flowers develop into a soft shade of brown-pink the day after they open, which contrasts nicely with its grey-green body. It’s a cool species and pretty easy to grow as long as you under-pot, go easy on the water, and give its taproot space to grow.
