This is so beautiful to me. We had just made it to the valley, where it’s moist, and lush. The Appalachians are like a temperate rain forest, honestly. I was just so happy to be in the wilderness, and so happy to be alive on a warm spring day.  This photo captures a moment for me, as I stood there in awe of how beautiful our forest is. (:
