Succulent would not be the best descriptor as that’d imply they are drought tolerant plants that retain moisture to deal with said drought, while Butterworts are moisture guzzlers as much as the next run-of-the-mill plant-carnivore. The word you’re after is “Round Rosette” plants.

But goddamn if there’s a group of plants that play the Round Rosette aesthetic well, it’s definitely the butterworts.
