Someone who knows about African violets, help. Can someone tell me why my blooms have petals between the pollen sack instead of being all open and flat? I checked for thrips but didn’t see any. They is the first violet I’ve bought and bloomed. I bought it with spent blooms so I didn’t really get to see what they were like.

Yeah, thats just a variety with semidouble blooms. Semidouble tends to have weird petals; I personally prefer double or single.
