Winterspinat Haldenstein is is a lovely winter spinach named after the Swiss town where it has been grown by nearly all who live there since before WWI. I received the seed years ago from William Woys Weaver, early in my time managing his Roughwood Seed Collection. The seeds are pointy, bit round! You can plant it in late fall for winter harvest, or plant it now through early spring for spring harvest.
