As one who used to be very into the series I’m surprised I missed this fandom (then again I wasn’t on tumblr back then and I didn’t get into fandoms on dA either). HOWEVER, as both a person who loves cats and one who knows lots of miscellaneous things I can put this debate to rest nice and quick;

Nature/science says cats can be gay. You want the cats to be gay? LET THEM BE GAY.
